Massage Therapy

The standards for Massage Therapy in British Columbia are considered to be some of the highest in the world. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you must meet rigorous requirements to both attain and then maintain your registration under the scrupulous guidelines implemented by the CMTBC. Regulated under the Health Professions Act of British Columbia and the College of Massage Therapy of BC, RMT’s are highly regarded health care professionals.

RMTs have an inclusive knowledge of Health Sciences focusing on the areas of anatomy and physiology, neurology, kinesiology as well orthopedics and pathology. Their manual skills encompass both clinical assessment, therapeutic exercise, sports massage and  prenatal treatments for expecting mothers.

With regular maintenance and massage, clients find they are able to deepen their connection and understanding of their bodies. Paired with a tailored treatment plan, you will gain the knowledge of preventative stretches and exercises specific to your needs to help facilitate your overall physical health and well being.

Benefits of regular massage therapy incorporate: improved circulation, decreased stress, reduced muscle tension, increased joint and muscle mobility and accelerated  recovery of soft tissue injuries.
